Water Reservoir Desilt and Clean

With Kwazulu Natal (and many other parts of the country being hammered by heavy rains on multiple occasions, the build up of mud and silt, particularly in development zones has been immense. A recent contract initiation has seen our team begin the laborious task of removing silt and mud through the man hole on a water attenuation tank at a large property development.

The process is rather straight forward. Descend into the reservoir via the access hatch. Establish a conveyor system to shuttle the mud up and out of the storage facility. Work our way around the area of the reservoir and reduce the height of the heavy, saturated mud. Repeat this process until we are down to the internal surface level.
