HFO Tank Cleaning

A few pictures of the team at a recent shift-change-over during an urgent clean of an HFO tank. This 200,000 litre tank was converted from Heavy Fuel Oil storage to Diesel Fuel and required a thorough clean, including some 300 metres of pipeline.

Using hydrocarbon degreasers with ultra high pressure, full face respirators and intrinsically safe lights we were able to complete this job in 48 hours, working overnight to ensure no delay at delivery.
